Happy Tuesday everyone! This weeks topic for TTT is; books to read at the beach. So I have chosen to use this as my summer TBR. This tbr is also gonna work as my summer reading challenge.
This list was actually so hard to make! I had such a hard time only choosing 10 books. I guess the fault is that ever-growing tbr… #bookwormproblems
TTT is a weekly meme hosted by that artsy reader girl.
Emergency Contact by Mary Choi
Well, I can actually cross this books off my list already, since I finished it Friday. This is such a nice book with the most gorgeous characters. My review will be up this Friday 🙂
Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody
I just ordered this book last night and I can’t stand to wait four days for it to arrive. I just wanna read it now!
The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed
I got this book recommended by the sweet Chole @ bookdragons and since I read her review of it, I was hooked.
Far From the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy
I have wanted to read this book for so looong. I have decided that this summer is the summer to get it done.
Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen
I have also wanted to read another book by Jane Austen for a long time. I think I have settled for Northanger Abbey.
The History of Bees by Maja Lunde
I am Danish but the books I read are 95% English. I have, therefore, decided that I should read at least one book in Danish this summer. So this book am I gonna read in Danish.
Always and forever, Laure Jean by Jenny Han
I am also gonna finish this sweet trilogy about Laure Jean and all the boys she had loved before 😉
The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw
This YA fantasy sound really interesting and something different.
Caraval by Stephanie Garber
This book also sounds so interesting so I am excited to see what it brings.
A Court Of Thornes And Roses by Sarah J. Maas
This is the summer I am gonna start this highly praised series and I am really looking forward to it :)))
So this is my summer TBR!
What will you be reading this summer? Any of these books or have you read them already? Please link to your TTT’s
Caraval was such a great read. I really need to get to Legendary this Summer. 🙂
I also look forward to it! ☺️ Will it be a trilogy?
Yes it will be.
Nice!
I read Ace of Shades recently and enjoyed it. I hope you enjoy it, and Caraval and ACOTAR too 🙂

Thank you!! :))
🙂
What a great list! I want to try and read Far From the Madding Crowd this year (I might not get to it this summer), and I love Northanger Abbey. Happy reading! 🙂
Aw thanks! I am glad you liked it! :))
I still need to read Ace of Shades as well…
But I love Northanger Abbey and Always and Forever, Lara Jean! 🙂
Happy reading!
I am quite impatiently waiting for it I my mail 😉 Thank you!
Emergency Contact looks good! And I’ve been wanting to read Caraval and still have not done so… maybe this summer I can finally get to it! 🙂
It is! Me too! 😉
Ooh! Emergency Contact seems interesting – I’ll give it a go! I’m just currently trying to clear out my currently-reading list of books that I started long ago, and after that, well, I’m a mood reader and don’t stick to lists much c:
I am also mostly a mood reader, so this list will probably be challenging 😉 I will definitely recommend Emergency Contact it’s a great read but not too dark
I’m currently reading Ace of Shades. I’m currently on the waiting list for the Caravel series, the Throne of Glass series, books 2-6 of Cassandra Clare’s Mortal Instruments series, and the Red Queen series. There’s a LONG waiting list for some of these books, so I just have to be patient with some of them.
Cool! How is it? Is it living up to your expectations? Argh waiting lists are exhausting. Yeah patience is the key 😉
Love this list! I recently finished Emergency Contact and thought it was really good 🙂 I typically don’t like contemporaries, but this one was super sweet and thoughtful! I hope you enjoy ACOTAR too! I’m not sure if you read Throne of Glass, but I really love Sarah J Maas’s writing. <3
Completely agree with you on Emergency Contact!
No I haven’t read any of Sarah J Mass… Which series do you prefer? Should I read Throne of glass first? 🙂
Oh I’m so glad you loved Emergency Contact, I LOVED this book so, so much, it’s one of my favorites of the year so far <3 I heard great things about The Nowhere Girls, I really hope I'll love it! I also LOVED the entire To All The boys series and that last book was the perfect ending, I can't wait for you to read it 🙂
The Wicked Deep is on my TBR as well – it sounds amazing 😀
Happy reading! 🙂
Thank you! I am quite excited for The nowhere girls and of course the ending of To all the boys series!🙊 And happy reading to you too! ❤️
I should really get in tune with modern lit. As expected, the only two books that I’ve read are the classics. Far from the Madding Crowd is Hardy at his best and well worth a read. The movie with Carey Mulligan is also sumptuous. I don’t think I need to advise you that the book should come first. 😁
I am a huge fan of Carey Mulligan so I must shamefully admit that I have already seen the film🙈 But the books are always better compared to films so I really need to read the book. I am glad to hear that it is one of Hardy’s best :))
