So it is the 31st of March and it is time to look back at what this month has brought of bookish stuff.
It has been a good reading month for me. I have read three books. I would have wished to read a bit more but this is what I have had time for and I don’t want to stress about it.
So the first book I finished this month was The Little Bookshop of Lonely Hearts by Annie Darling.
I found this book to be cute sweet romance. It was funny as well but not an epic love story. You can read my review here.
The other book I finished this month was To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo.
This book was something I had looked much forward to read, and pleasingly, I found this dark YA fantasy to be a great book! It had great main characters and great supporting characters. It was complex, thrilling and entertaining and I couldn’t put it down. (I will post my review in the coming week – stay tuned) I believe it looks very promising for Alexandra Christo since this is her debut novel. I can’t wait for what she will come up with in the future!
The last book I read and finished this month was The Other Woman written by the Swedish author Therese Bohman.
This book was a very interesting and very different read. But I really enjoyed and liked its differentness. This novel is about a young woman who starts an affair with a married doctor from the hospital where she works in the cantina. This book is written without any chapters or divided into parts. It is written almost in a stream of thought but all this makes this book quite artistic, which I like.
A minor, but for me, quite a major thing, that happened this month was the “launch” of my blog Bookish Stuff! (Wieee) It has taken a while for me to get this blog published but finally, it is up and running and I am so happy to finally be a part of the book blogging community I am also very happy that you have taken me in so kindly. Thank you for that! I have already got 10+ followers, which I wouldn’t had hoped for, but I am grateful for that! I am looking forward to where this book blogging journey will take me and the many new people I will meet!
If you haven’t already read my first introduction post The Book Blogging Journey Begins, a post about me and my blog feel free to check it out.
If you feel like it, check out my review of The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas or my first Top Ten Tuesday list (books set in countries I would like to visit). Both posts are from this month.
I look forward to seeing what April will bring. Another month of spring (which I hope will be warmer than March, because here in Denmark, it has only been cloudy, rainy and windy, not very spring-ish/promising) and another month of reading. What will I read in April?… I expect to read One Of Us Is Lying and then maybe some YA fantasy or contemporary we’ll see Stay tuned in April to find more reviews and other bookish stuff :))
