Top Ten Tuesday – Throwback: Books I’d slay a Lion to get early!

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying the summer and that your summer reading is going after plan! This weeks TTT topic is TTT throwback and I have decided to list ten books I’d slay a lion to get early which was a topic I missed out on a few months back. There are so many great releases coming out this summer and especially next year. Truth be told it is only a couple of books listed below that I really crave, which mostly are sequels to another book. Anyway here are the books!

 

King Of Fools (The Shadow Game #2) by Amanda Foody (30.04.19)

Right now this is the book that I am craving the most! I want more. I want to know more about Enne and Levi and I want that kiss I never got in Ace of Sades… (sorry for the spoiler)

 

The Wicked King (The Folk Of The Air #2) by Holly Black (08.01.19)

I really envy all those bloggers who have got an ARC of the book! I want it now too, please! January is soo far away…

 

The Queen of Nothing (The Folk Of The Air #3) by Holly Black (2020)

Okay maybe I am being a bit ridiculous to want this book already, but I am sure The Wicked King won’t disappoint me so just give me Queen of Nothing while you are at it

 

Children Of Virtue And Vengence (Legacy of Orisha) by Tomi Adeyemi (05.03.19)

Well, Children Of Blood And Bone was just wow! I loved everything! I just wanna know what really happened and what will happen next!

 

The Exact Opposite Of Okay #2 by Laura Steven (March 2019)

Okay, so I am not completely sure about this book. But in my copy of TEOOO in back it says that Izzy O’Neil will return in March 2019. I am really looking forward to this book! The first book was so great; funny important and contemporary.

 

King Of Scars (Nikolai Doulogi #1) by Leigh Bardugo (29.01.19)

I enjoyed the Grisha books and Nikolaj was one of my favourite characters so I look forward to this book and excited for what Bardugo has come up with.

 

Kiss Of The Royals by Lindsey Duga (03.07.19)

Okay, so this book is already out… But I made this list before that and I still look forward to it. So, I am not gonna remove it haha

 

Dance of Thieves by Mary E. Pearson (07.08.18)

This book will be out soon. It sounds really quite cool and mysterious. I haven’t yet read anything of Pearson but I think I will look into The Remnant Chronicles too.

 

Two can keep a secret by Karen McManus (08.01.19)

I really found McManus debut novel One of Us Is Lying entertaining so I am looking forward to what she has in store for us next.

 

The other side of lost by Jessi Kirby (07.08.18)

I have never read an out in the wild novel before but this contemporary is alluring. And the wait won’t be that long.
