Top Ten Tuesday – The greatest villains

Happy Tuesday everyone!

One of the greatest things about a book is the characters, especially great characters. Some characters are good, some are bad, some are in between and some a just evil. Mostly the latter refers to the group of charters we usually call the villains. This week’s topic for TopTenTuesday is the best/worst/creepiest/most evil villains. So here comes my top ten of the greatest villains I have encountered. Some are mean some are just selfish and some are just plain evil.

Voldemort from Harry Potter 1-7 by J.K Rowling

He got to be the greats villain of all times! Pure evil and creepy. Uff and that face…

Maven from Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard

Uff also really a creepy villain but also quite disturbing. I am sure Maven must suffer for some kind of mental illness.

The Darkling from The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo

He was a complex villain; drawing yet dangerous. I could never decide how I felt about him.

President Snow from The Hunger Games by Suzane Collins

Such a clever and cold-hearted character.

Caden from The Cruel Prince by Holly Black

Caden was such an ass in The Cruel Prince, so cruel haha! I didn’t like him at all in the beginning but he won me over in the end.

Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter by J.K Rowling

Draco Draco Draco… Argh, how I hated his choices, but I still couldn’t help but feel bad for him.

Juels from The Fill-in Boyfriend

Not an actual villain but god how I hated that girl! Just keep quiet and mind your own busisesns.

Peter from Divergent

Ah, another ass and a very selfish one as well. I couldn’t stand him either until I saw Miles Teller acting as Peter. Then Peter ended up being an almost humorous character.

The Komisar from The Remnant Chronicles

The Komisar was a cool villain. Evil surely but there was something interesting about him that I liked.

Dolores Umbridge from Harry Potter

The best for last. Or should I say evilest? Dolores Umbridge… Do I even have to explain my self? That woman was just #f”&fd/g%)s!

That was my top ten. Who is on your list this week?

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jana at thatartsyreadgirl. Every Tuesday a new topic applies and a new top ten list is made.

  1. Cardan’s on my list too! I like him because he isn’t really that cruel and stops his friends whenever they go too far. Can’t wait for The Wicked King 🙂

    1. Well, I think he should have stopped his friends before at some points but I don’t think he is really cruel either. And I can’t wait for The Wicked King either! The wait has been far too long 😉

  2. The Harry Potter villains are my favorites. I hated Draco, but I did feel bad for him by the end of the series. He got mixed up in something that he couldn’t handle.

  3. This is really a test comment and I really didn’t read this article. But villians are great. ten ten would recommend their evilness.
