Top Ten Tuesday – Platonic relationships

Happy Tuesday everyone!
I have decided to take part in this weeks TTT since the topic is platonic relationships! I think this topic is great because one of the best things about great books is great relationships. Without them, books would be so less fun and much more depressing. So with no further ado here is my list of top 10 platonic relationships.

Harry, Ron & Hermione (the golden trio) – Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling

One of the best friendships of all times, is probably the friendship Harry Ron and Hermione have. I mean who wouldn’t want to be a part of their squad?

Erie, Lottie and Amber – Am I Normal Yet? by Holly Bourne

Another great triangular friendship. I loved these girls dynamic and how they help and challenged each other. Read my review Three reasons why you should read Am I Normal Yet by Holy Bourne.

Kilorn and Mare – Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard

Maybe this relationship is close to the border of not being a platonic relationship. But I always shiped Kilorn and Mare as just friends so I think they are fit for my list

Rosina and Erin – The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed

I just finished this book yesterday and I loved it!! One thing in particular that I liked was the relationship between the two friends Rosina and Erin. They have such different personalities if they aren’t the opposite of each other. But still, they make such good friends because they accept, respect and love each other which I guess is what friendship is all about.

Fred and George Weasley – Harry Potter by J.K Rowling

Another friendship from the Harry Potter series. But Fred and George are just brilliant!

Katniss and Prim Everdeen

Another sibling relationship. I really enjoyed and loved was Katniss and Prim’s relationship. Especially how it changed through the three books and that Katniss could seek comfort and counselling with Prim.

The Liars (Cadence, Johnny, Gat & Mirren) – We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

It is quite a while since I read this book. But I remember the four group of friends as a dynamic and sometimes complex relationship.

Leisel and Hans Huberman – The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

It is also a while since I read this book but I remember clearly how adoring the relationship between Hans and Liesel were. Hans is the closest thing to a father Leisel gets but Hans is also becomes a trusted friend.

Elisabeth and Jane Bennet – Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

Strong bonds are often found in families and between siblings. I loved the bond between Elisabeth and Jane. They were such good sisters and friends for each other.

The Court of Dreams (Rhys, Mor, Cassian, Azriel & Amren (Feyre)) ACOMAF by Sarah J. Maas

Last but not least the court of dreams. This group of friends is amazing! They would do anything for each other. They have both great and different personalities – this squad is goals!

So this was my list. What relationships are on your list this week? Do we have any of the same?

    1. Yes the trio is everything! ❤️
Oh I am so happy to hear you liked it!! I had a bit prejudicial reproach towards it but I ended up loving it as well. Especially because of the girls!
