Happy Tuesday everyone!
It is time for another TTT. This week topic is books I mean to read in 2018 but didn’t get to. There is no better way to feel bad about the books you didn’t read by making such a list. There are just so many. Anyway here is my list:
Only Ever Yours by Louise O’Neill
State Of Sorrow by Melinda Salisbury
Bridge Of Clay by Markus Zusak
That’s Not What Happened by Kody Keplinger
A Thousand Perfect Notes by C. G. Drews
The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo
The Other Side Of Lost by Jessi Kirby
Kiss Of The Royal by Lindsey Duga
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
Undead Girl Gang Lilly Anderson
So this was my TTT this week. We all have too many books we want to read and I could easily have put more books on this list. But these are the ten books I regret most that I didn’t read.
I especially wished I had read ‘Speak’ since I discovered that there is made a movie based on it. I guess this will be a new motivation factor for me 😉 I also wished that I had read ‘Only Ever Yours’. ‘Asking For It’, also by Louise O’Neill was one of the best books I read in 2018 and I am keen to discover more of O’Neill’s authorship.
What books didn’t you get to in 2018? Do we have some of the same?
Great idea for a post!
‘Speak’ looks really interesting and very applicable to today’s culture.
Yeah exactly and it is actually a bit old 😉
Oh I’ve read A Thousand Perfect Notes! It’s one of my favorites! ☺️
That is so nice! A lot of people seem to like it was well! I am maybes just tiny bit afraid that I will be disappointed. Really hope not. 😉
I have so many I never got to!!! Nice post <3
Thank you!!
A Thousand Perfect Notes and Bridge of Clay are also on my 2018 TBR-fail list, along with so. many. others 😅 I’ve noticed that a lot of the books I’ve read so far this year are 2018 releases, so maybe I’m just destined to forever be at least a year behind? who knows haha.
Haha you are just catching up 😉 what 2019 releases are you looking most forward to?
I think that happens to everyone. My list is always longer than my year. I set a goal, and can usually make it, but I have many more books on my list than my goal!! These all look pretty interesting – I haven’t read any, so some will have to go on my list.
So true. You definitely should consider. I have heard many good things about Bridge Of Clay and A Thousand Perfect Notes. :))
Oh I didn’t realise Speak was a movie either?! I need to read it! And also Bridge of Clay made my list this week too, oops. I can’t even believe I didn’t read it when I was so hyped for it! Here’s my TTT for this week!
I think Kristen Stewart is in the lead. I don’t know if this is a good thing or bad. But I will read and see it either way. 😉
Yeah I have heard many great things about it and I really loved The Book Thief.
I still have to read Speak and Bridge Of Clay too……
Did you read The Book Thief?
I loved Undead Girl Gang! Hope you enjoy it 🙂
My Top Ten Tuesday this week.
I am so happy to hear that! Me too! ☺️
I read Only Ever Yours last year and had mixed feelings about it. I hope you like it.
This is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
I really hope I do too! Have you read anything else by Louise O’Neill?
I read A Thousand Perfect Notes last year and enjoyed it, I hope you do too!

That is so nice, I hope so too ☺️
I’ve not heard of any of these books, but they sound interesting! Good luck with getting round to them at some point 🙂
Thank you! I really hope to get around at least half. But that tbr is never ending 😉
I’ve seen A Thousand Perfect Notes on several lists today! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Yeah me too! I have also seen Bridge Of Clay on several 🙂
I really wanted to finish off the Throne of Glass series but didn’t have the time to. I thought Kiss of the Royal was pretty good but also a little weird in it’s concept?
I totally forgot about the Throne of Glass series! I have read ACOTAR and loved all the books. So I will definitely read TOG at some point. Did you enjoy it?
I am happy to hear that! I hope I like it too 🙂
Undead Girl Gang is still on my list and I am sad I didn’t get around to it either!
Yeah I really hope to get around it soon 🤞🏼
I really want to read Poet X so badly! I read That’s Not What Happened and really liked it. I hope you get to read them this year!
Yeah it sounds quite interesting both in terms of the story and the form. Thanks me too ☺️
I haven’t gotten around to reading A Thousand Perfect Notes yet either. But I’m starting it tonight!
