Happy Tuesday!
I thought this weeks TTT topic – books by my favourite authors that I still haven’t read – was interesting. I really like a lot of authors but have rarely read more than one book written by them, unless it was a part of a series. I thought this week topic was a great opportunity to get an overview of the books by great authors I have been missing out on. So here is my list!
Throne Of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
Throne of Glass has been on my TBR for a long time andย I looooved ACOTAR so I am almost certain I will enjoy this one too.
The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han
I really enjoyed reading To All The Boys I Have Loved Before series by Jenny Han. She has written several other books which are on my TBR, among others The Summer I Turned Pretty.
Six Of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
This book and its sequel sound so good! And I believe that I would enjoy this series even more than enjoyed The Grisha Trilogy.
The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith (J. K. Rowling)
This book has been on my TBR since it came out and when it was revealed that Robert Galbraith was a pseudonym for Rowling. I would love to read something by Rowling that isn’t Harry Potter related. ๐
Mind Games by Teri Terry
I loved Terry’s slated trilogy which actually was the first books that introduced me to the YA dystopian genre.
Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen
Why do I keep on postponing this book!? I loved Pride And Prejudice! Maybe I’m just afraid that this one will disappoint me.
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
The books I have read so far by Anderson has been great. I would really like to read this one as well.
After You by Jojo Moyes
Another book I am afraid will disappoint me. I read Me Before You and it was just amazing. I am not sure I believe the book should have been turned into a series though.
Carve The Mark by Veronica Roth
I am curious to see if this is another great YA series. I have read The Divergent Series and my feelings toward that one was a bit mixed. (You can read my discussion post about it here)
The Darkest Part Of The Forrest by Holly Black
The first and only (so far) book I have read by Holly Black is The Cruel Prince. It was such a great experience and it made me aware of Holly Black authorship. She has written so many books and they seem so great.
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jana at thatartsyreadgirl. Every Tuesday a new topic applies and a new top ten list is made.
What books are on your TTT this week? Feel Free leave a link to your list in the comments. Have you read any of these books? Ant must-reads?
I read Speak forever ago and remember loving it, so I hope you enjoy it when you get to it!
I am so happy to hear that! And thank you :))
Great post, I would definitely recommend both Northanger Abbey and The Darkest Part of the Forest both are great books ๐
Thank you! I think I will start on Northanger Abbey soon. ๐
You’re welcome, hope you love it ๐๐
I hope you enjoy both Throne of Glass and Six of Crows as much as I did!
