Happy Friday everyone! Tomorrow will be this first of December! How crazy is that! There is only one month of 2018 left. How times fly! So I guess it is best to get to it – here is my November Round-Up 😉
Books read this month
Wintersong by Jae-jones ★★
As I have said several times now, this was not the book for me. I wanted to like and enjoy this book but I couldn’t. Honestly, there was a lot of things that I disliked and that annoyed me. However, I must admit that the language of Jae-Jones is beautiful! It is really playful and experimenting. This was the reason I even finished the book.
The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed ★★★★★
I
A big thanks to Cloe @ Book Dragons for recommending me this book! I just devoured it! I need more books like this one! Thank you so much for the recommendation!! <3
Books reviewed this month
I only reviewed one book this month and it was Wintersong by Jae-Jones. This was probably my first negative review ever. I feel a bit bad about it. But I was just so disappointed in this book that I had to share it. You can read my review here! If you have read Wintersong I would love to hear your opinion of it!
Currently reading
Currently, I am reading Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb. I have only read 60 pages but I am enjoying already. It is a bit different from other fantasy novels I have read but in a good way. It is nice with change and diversity. I am excited to see where this book and hopefully the entire Farseer Trilogy will take me.
Other things on Bookish Stuff
This month I wrote a post about my visit to the annual Danish book convention Bog Forum. It was nice to be back after I missed it last year. I bought all the books I had in mind and a couple extra ;). I also had the pleasure of getting my copy of Only Ever Yours by Louise O’Neill signed by no other than Louise O’Neill 😉 Read more about my visit to BogForum here.
I also took part in one TTT this month. Read my top ten of the best Platonic Relationships here!
Around the blogosphere
Two days ago Marie @ Drizzle & Hurricane Books celebrated her blog’s 4th-year anniversary with a love letter to book blogging.
Sofia @ Book
It just so nice and inspirational to read about. Big congratulations to both of them! <3
What’s up for December?
Well, I strongly plan to finish Assassin’s Apprentice and then I think I will treat myself with some poetry. On Black Friday I bought Her Sun And Her Flower by Rupi Kaur.
I guess that is how my November went with bookish Stuff.
What did you do of bookish stuff in November? What did you read? What did you write?
So glad you loved the book as much as I did! I’ll definitely let you know if I find anymore books like that, which I fall for! Hope you have a great December 🙂
